Dana White threw cold water on MMA fans by ruling out the possibility of a confrontation between Jon Jones e Alex Poatán. In an interview with 'The Pat McAfee Show', the UFC president was categorical in stating that, at the moment, there are no plans for the Brazilian to face the heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg.).
The expectation for a fight between the two biggest names in MMA today had intensified after the recent achievements of Poatan, who is a former middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg) and current light heavyweight king (up to 93kg.) . However, Dana appears to have other plans for both athletes.
