After suffering two consecutive defeats in the UFC, Johnny Walker decided to make a change in his career. Surprisingly, the fighter, who is known for his standing skills, found in Khabib Nurmagomedov, one of the greatest grappling specialists in the history of MMA. The registration was made by the 'AKA' academy on social media.

The former lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg) opened the doors of his gym, the American Kickboxing Academy (AKA), to the Brazilian, who has been looking to improve his wrestling skills.

In addition to intensive training at AKA, the Brazilian also spent time at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas, improving his physical and technical preparation.
