Dana White got straight to the point when commenting on the possibility of a fight between the UFC light heavyweight (up to 93kg) champion, Alex Poatán, and the influencer Jake Paul. In an interview with 'Full Send Podcast', the organization's representative categorically ruled out the fight in boxing and argued that the difference in level between the two athletes would be absurd.

“I don’t see this fight happening. The commission wouldn't even authorize something like that. (Alex Poatán) Pereira would put on a knockout show and send Paul's head to another planet. Jake is just looking for attention, and now that Alex is on the rise, he wants a piece of that pie,” said Dana White.

The leader of the largest MMA organization in the world criticized Paul's strategy of challenging fighters from other disciplines to boost his boxing career.

“It’s always the same story. He chooses weaker opponents to guarantee victory and gain fame”, concluded the Ultimate leader.

The controversy began after Jake Paul surprise and challenge Alex Poatán for a fight right after beating the former UFC Mike Perry in the unanimous decision of the judges. The Brazilian, in turn, chose to call the YouTuber at the same time and fueled the rumors about a possible fight.
