Canadian rapper Drake suffered another million-dollar loss in the world of MMA. Last Saturday night (17), the music star bet a considerable amount on the victory of Israel adesanya No. UFC 305, but saw his investment go down the drain with the victory of Dricus du Plessis for the middleweight belt (up to 83,9kg.).
With Adesanya's defeat, Drake lost around US$450, equivalent to approximately R$2,4 million at current prices. On his social networks, the rapper had said that he was 'always with Izzy', the nickname used by the Nigerian, when showing a bet made on Stake.

Du Plessis, in turn, celebrated the victory and didn't miss the opportunity to provoke the rapper, posting a photo with the belt and the following caption: “From the bottom of my heart once again: Thank you, Drake”.
The rivalry between Adesanya and du Plessis was great and the fight was eagerly awaited by MMA fans. The South African, with an aggressive strategy, managed to destabilize the Nigerian and submit him with a rear naked choke in the fourth round. He defended the middleweight division belt for the first time.
