After winning, the Rio native received a trophy and secured a contract with UFC.
Known for his talent in stand-up fighting, Mairon had great success in his performance in the final of the 32nd edition of The Ultimate Fighter. With success in his striking, Santos twice unbalanced the athlete with powerful kicks to the front leg and began to stand out in the confrontation.
