The Nurmagomedov family has once again made history in the world of MMA. On Saturday night (7), Usman Nurmagomedov, Khabib's cousin, successfully defended his Bellator lightweight belt (up to 70,3 kg) in San Diego. The emotion of victory, however, almost resulted in an unusual moment in the corner.
In the midst of the celebration, Khabib could not contain his euphoria and, in an impulsive act, tried to finish his brother, Umar Nurmagomedov, also a UFC fighter.

The scene, captured by the cameras, shows the former UFC champion giving instructions to Usman during the fight and, upon seeing victory approaching, applying a submission to Umar, present in the corner.
Inside the octagon, Usman and Alexander Shabliy fought a balanced and technical fight. The five rounds were marked by exchanges of blows and takedown attempts, with both fighters seeking the advantage. However, the Russian's experience and technique prevailed, and the Russian secured the victory by unanimous decision of the judges.
With this result, Usman Nurmagomedov maintains his undefeated record in professional MMA and consolidates himself as one of the main names of the new generation of fighters. In his career, he now has 18 positive results and no defeats.
