Jamahal hill yawns mockingly after Poatan's victory in UFC 307 / Reproduction Instagram
In addition to the knockout in Khalil rountree in UF 307, Alex Poatán also hit a 'straight' in Jamahal hill outside the octagon. At a press conference after the victory that guaranteed him the right to keep his light heavyweight belt (up to 93 kg), the Brazilian was asked about the attitude of his rival, who in the middle of the crowd let out a yawn in a mocking tone. It is worth remembering that Rountree performed well against Poatan in the this saturday's fight (5). The American even managed to dominate the Brazilian in the first two rounds, but then his performance dropped and he was knocked out in the fourth round. Hill was knocked out by Alex this year in the first round.
UFC 300
The defending champion defeated Hill in the main event of the UFC 300, which happened in April of this year, when he landed a left cross that knocked out the American. The victory earned Poatan the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg.)
Hill was suspended for six months after being knocked out by Poatan, but is expected to return in the coming weeks to get in line for a rematch with the champion.
