the return of Conor McGregor to the UFC octagon continues to be one of the hottest topics in world MMA. After having his fight against Michael chandler postponed due to injury, the Irishman is now looking for a new opponent for 2025.

The former champion would face Chandler at UFC 303, in June of this year, but was prevented due to a fractured little toe. Willing to fight when he is 100% healthy, Conor revealed, in an interview with 'The Schmo', that, despite his desire to face the American, he would like to have a fight before Chandler recovers from his confrontation in UFC 309.

“We are looking for a date. I would like to settle accounts with Michael chandler. You know, I want to fight Chandler. We've had our differences. It's not settled. He has a fight scheduled. I'd like to fight him before he recovers. There are a few names in the pipeline right now. A few names are being discussed," said the Irishman.

Asked about the possibility of a fourth fight against Dustin poirier or a third against Nate diaz, the Irishman appeared excited and revealed that he was willing to settle the score with both of them.

“Of course, you know things with Dustin are not resolved and with Nate as well. It’s one on one, so it’s two big fights and I’m excited,” McGregor expressed.

 Michael Chandler's Fight

After almost two years of waiting to fight against Conor McGregor, Chandler has finally decided to move on and will face Charles of the Bronx in a rematch in UFC 309, on November 16th, at Madison Square Garden, in New York (USA).
