The world's largest MMA organization returns to the Apex at UFC Vegas 98, with a hugely important fight in the flyweight division (up to 56,7 kg) in the main event. Fifth in the rankings, Tatsuro Taira tries to maintain invincibility when facing Brandon royval, which occupies the first position. The winner will be accredited as one of the next opponents of Alexandre pantoja.

Being seen as one of the promises of the UFC's lightest men's division, Tatsuro Taira is undefeated in MMA, with 16 wins throughout his career and six victories in the Ultimate. Royval is now trying to fight the champion of the category for the third time, after overcoming Brandon Moreno in February this year.

The night also features the presence of Brazilian Julia Polastri, former LFA strawweight champion (52,2 kg), who is looking for her first victory in the UFC when she faces Cory Mckenna on the preliminary card. In addition to her, Lucas Rocha makes his debut in the organization against the American Clayton Carpenter.
