“I want to come back for two more fights in the UFC. When I retired, I said I was going to cut my hair and take steroids. But the truth is that I have been working for the last two years to get back to fighting clean. I want to reach the 50-fight mark in the UFC and I am preparing for that. I miss the adrenaline of fighting and I want to leave my mark even stronger in the UFC,” joked Cerrone in a video posted on his Instagram.
The American also confessed his curiosity regarding the effects of the medications he used during the period he was away from the octagon and wants to test his physical limits.
“I’ve been working for the last two years, using TRT and a bunch of hormones. Now we have a protocol for all of you that says, ‘Oh, if you do this, you can never stop.’ Well, I have to stop and have a clean bill of health, fight in a few months. So watch this,” he concluded.
