The dream of fighting in the world's biggest MMA organization is over for some Brazilians. This Tuesday (29), Matheus Nicolau, Tamires Vidal e Vinicius Salvador were released from the Ultimate. The information was given by the profile on X (formerly Twitter) UFC Roster Watch, which monitors the movements in the company's roster of athletes.

Matheus Nicolau

At 31, Matheus Nicolau He had been with the organization since 2015, after participating in the fourth and final season of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil. In total, the Minas Gerais native had 11 fights in the event, with a record of seven wins and four losses. He had not been in a good phase lately, having been defeated in the last three fights, with two knockouts for Brandon royval e Alex Perez, a unanimous decision for Assu Almabayev. Despite this, the Brazilian still occupied the tenth position in the flyweight rankings (up to 56,7 kg).

Vinícius Salvador

Vinícius Salvador says goodbye to the Ultimate without knowing the feeling of victory. After earning a spot in the organization with a victory in the 2022 'Dana White Contender Series', the 'phenomenon', who fights as a flyweight and bantamweight (up to 56,7 kg. and 61,2 kg., respectively) was defeated on three occasions.
