The convincing performance in victory before amir albazi No. UFC Edmonton, on Saturday night (2), in Canada, was enough to make Brandon Moreno dream of the flyweight title (up to 56,7 kg). Today the belt belongs to Alexandre pantoja, who even reacted with provocation to the Mexican's victory on social media. However, the 'Killer Baby' knows that he may need one more convincing triumph to have a chance to face the Brazilian.

“I have to be honest with myself. I think I’m going to need one more fight before the title, but I don’t know what the UFC is thinking right now. Maybe they were impressed today and thought, ‘Hey! Maybe he can fight for the title now,’ that kind of thing. But I know Royval is in the running for an opportunity, so I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I’m ready for whatever comes,” Moreno said at the post-event press conference.

On December 7th, in Las Vegas (USA), Alexandre pantoja will put the belt on the line for the third time against debutant Kai Asakura. Moreno is second in the flyweight rankings, behind only Brandon royval. He knows that his tormentor in Mexico could cross his path again, but he has shown disinterest in another opponent: the New Zealander Kai Kara France.

'I can have a fight with Royval, but I don't want to fight Kara again. I've already beaten him twice, but if I have to do it because of the title... let's see what happens after the fight between Pantoja and Kai Asakura. If he (Pantoja) loses, maybe I'll be next, let's see what happens. If it's Pantoja, let's go! In my last fight with him I made some mistakes, but I believe I've improved and that I can beat him. I know it sounds stupid to say that (fight for the belt) when you've lost three times to the same person (Pantoja), but man, I'm a fighter. I just want to fight and win,' concluded Moreno.
