UFC's internal politics have definitely not been so good for Tom aspinall. The Englishman is the interim heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg), however, there is no scheduled date for a unification with Jon Jones. Thus, as 'Bones' prepares to face Stipe Miocic No. UFC 309, the athlete dreams of confronting the winner. In fact, he even thought of possible strategies for Miocic – and himself – to beat the linear title holder.

For Aspinall, bearing in mind the vast experience possessed by both fighters involved in the main event of the UFC 309, it is essential that Miocic approaches the fight with one main objective: to win by knockout.

“I would go for the knockout against Jon Jones. I would try to push him back and use my size. It's not like he could use his experience. They're both great, but I would use my size on him, try to push him back and knock him out. I think the Stipe Miocic has great knockout power compared to Jon Jones. So I think he can knock him out,” Aspinall said in an interview with British website 'Safest Casino Sites'.

The heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg), who also works as a commentator, recognized the technical skills of his potential opponents, however, he guaranteed that he had ways to defeat them in an impactful manner.

PUBLICITY:

“To be honest, with guys like Jon Jones e Stipe Miocic, it’s very, very difficult to look at them and identify technically what they’re doing wrong. It’s very difficult. My key to beating not only these guys, but anyone, is I have to punch them in the face as hard as I can. It’s proven that if I hit someone, they’ll go down. I’ve never hit someone clean in my life and they didn’t go down.”

At 31, Tom aspinall is one of the main representatives of the new generation of UFC. With eight victories in the organization, all by fast track, the British fighter defended the interim belt in July of this year against Curtis blaydes, knocking out the American in just one minute.

Despite the Dana White's Promise for a fight with the winner of Jones and Miocic, there are strong rumors that claim the retirement of both after the UFC 309.
