Fedor Emelianenko spared no criticism of Stipe Miocic. In an interview with the channel 'Ushatayka', the former PRIDE heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg) analyzed the highly anticipated fight between Jon Jones e Stipe Miocic, which happens in the UFC 309 next Saturday (16).
For Fedor, Miocic has qualities — such as speed — but lacks a fundamental element to overcome Jon Jones: the power.

“I watched Miocic’s fights, of course. He’s a former UFC champion, he has interesting technique and moves well. But in my opinion, he lacks knockout power. He’s fast, he’s agile, but he doesn’t have the strength that a fight of this level requires. That was evident in the fight against Francis Ngannou”, Emelianenko said.
Fedor Emelianenko remains one of the greatest references in world MMA. With a record of 40 wins and six losses, the Russian dominated PRIDE and is considered by many to be the greatest heavyweight of all time. He has, however, never competed in the UFC.
Considered the greatest light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) in history, Jones has 27 wins under his belt and only one loss by disqualification. Throughout his career, 'Bones' won 15 title fights and suffered no setbacks.
