Thursday (14) began with the news of a fight wedding to excite MMA fans. The businessman of Sharabutdin Magomedov confirmed to international pages that the 'Pirate' will return to the octagon soon. The opponent will be Michael Page. The fight was scheduled for UFC Fight Night on February 1st in Saudi Arabia.

The middleweight (up to 83,9kg) duel takes place after a crushing victory for Magomedov in UFC 308, held on October 26th. The Russian knocked out Armen petrosyan with a spinning double punch at the end of the second round. Still on the show stage, Shara asked for a next opponent with his eye on the top shelf. He challenged Israel adesanya, third in the ranking. Without a response from the Nigerian, Magomedov tried the 'poison' distilled in 'Venom' days later of the fight. Page made the challenge which was accepted.
Fighting at the Riyadh event was the desire of the 'Shara Bullet' team. The coach told in the week after victory they were preparing to fight on this date.
A veteran debuting
Michael 'Venom' Page is 37 years old and began his UFC career this year. After a successful run in Bellator, the Englishman won his first fight in the new organization. The challenge was against Kevin holland, at UFC 299, in March, which guaranteed Page a place in the welterweight rankings (up to 77kg). The victory was confirmed by unanimous decision of the judges. But, also by decision, came the defeat in the following fight with Ian Gary, on pay-per-view 303, in June. Now, the fighter moves up a category and hopes to regain his position in the fight with the 14th in the ranking.
