Arman Tsarukyan eyes belt and rematch against Charles do Bronx for UFC title: 'I want to finish'

Armenian recalls fight with Brazilian, plans new encounter and expresses desire to finish

Arman Tsarukyan is one step away from challenging Islam makhachev for the UFC lightweight belt (up to 70,3 kg), but already has an opponent in mind for the future. In an interview with TNT Sports, the Armenian revealed that, if he wins the title, his next goal It will be the revenge against Charles of the Bronx, with the desire to finish it this time.

“When I become champion, I want to fight Charles, because our first fight was very even and I would like to finish him,” said the fighter.

The rivalry between Tsarukyan and Oliveira intensified after the clash between the two in UFC 300, held in April of this year. On that occasion, the Armenian won by split decision, in a fight considered one of the best of the event.

With the victory over Charles, Arman Tsarukyan has established himself as the next challenger for the belt Islam makhachev. The fight must take place in UFC 311, in January 2025.
