In the third round, Garry changed his stance. With the guidance of his coach Diego Lima, he became more aggressive, using high kicks and moving his head to dodge Rakhmonov's attacks. The Irishman managed to impose his rhythm, landing precise blows and even damaging his opponent's knees with strategic stomps. A curious detail happened at the end of this round, when the 'Chute Boxe' representative's uniform tore, forcing him to quickly change his clothes.
The fourth round began with a moment of great attention for both sides. Rakhmonov scored the first takedown of the fight, knocking Ian down in the center of the octagon and landing hard elbows. Despite the uncomfortable position, Garry managed to break free and, surprisingly, went for a guillotine, almost finishing his opponent. However, the Kazakh showed his resilience and managed to turn the situation around, staying on top until the end of the round.
It was in the fifth and final round that Shavkat's big comeback happened. Despite pressure from Garry, the Kazakh resisted the rear naked choke and, with great technique, managed to recover and dominate the Irishman in the final part of the fight. After the five rounds, the judges gave a unanimous victory to Rakhmonov, who managed to maintain his undefeated record and continue as one of the great talents in the division.
