The fight between Battle and Brown, which made up the preliminary card, was far from exciting for fans. The fight unfolded without much excitement, with both fighters opting for a more cautious pace, resulting in a split decision that did not please those present at the T-Mobile Arena. The audience, who were expecting more action, booed not only the performance, but also the result of the fight, which generated the response of BryanBattle.

During the post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, Battle seemed more interested in questioning the negative reaction of the crowd than in discussing his victory. Rogan, accustomed to moments of elation, had to deal with the athlete's discomfort, who insisted on knowing the reason for the boos.

Battle's controversial stance was not the fighter's first at the event. The day before the fight, the athlete had weighed in 1,8 kg over the division limit, which had already generated criticism before the fight. Although he was able to fight, this mistake at the weigh-in further damaged his image with the fans, who were expecting a good performance to justify his behavior.

With victory, BryanBattle, now with 12 wins and two losses on his record, remains undefeated in four fights and could appear in the division rankings after the next update. On the other hand, Randy Brown suffered his sixth defeat in 25 fights and saw his three-fight winning streak snapped.
