Without wasting time, the former champion used social media to respond to the challenge.
In a post on 'X' (formerly Twitter), the record holder for title defenses in the division rejected Pantoja's challenge and revealed that he turned down an offer of a large sum to fight. He reaffirmed that he is satisfied with his decision to hang up the gloves.
