“I don’t know all the details of the case. I know his version of the story, and her version of the story, and what happened in court, but the reality is that this guy is partying, and he’s partying a lot, and he talked about it in court. He was talking about cocaine. The whole thing was, ‘We were doing cocaine, we were having sex. He likes cocaine.’ I don’t know if Conor is going to fight again,” Rogan said on the latest edition of his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience.

“We’ve all seen Conor get knocked out. We’ve seen training footage. He’s training professional boxers, elite fighters. You’re taking a lot of hits to the head. A lot of fighters, especially towards the end of their careers, turn to drugs. There’s probably a constant state of discomfort that they’re in, where their dopamine and cortisol levels are screwed up. You shouldn’t be getting punched in the head 1000 times a year. It just shouldn’t happen, and that’s the reality of consistent training,” concluded Rogan, who also holds black belts in jiu-jitsu and taekwondo.

Conor McGregor has been away from the octagon since July 2021, when he fractured his left leg during a fight against Dustin poirier, at UFC 264.
