Jiri Prochazka reacts to fan who adopted 'war hair' due to chemotherapy

A fan of Jiri Prochazka moved the internet after a post reporting his fight against cancer. Before losing his hair due to chemotherapy treatment, user 'butterfly105' recreated the look of the former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg), who fights with his hair pulled back like an antenna.

The fan reported that it wasn't easy to get her hair like her favorite UFC fighter's, with long blond locks falling out, but she ended up managing to make the perfect ponytail for the photo.

“Lost my hair to chemo – not before celebrating my favorite UFC fighter! Had so much fun doing this with my friend before I shaved it all off! Cancer sucks but sometimes you have to make the most of it! I wasn’t as emotional about losing my hair as I thought I would be. I had long blonde hair before too but at least it made the Jiri ponytail easier to do. I’ll be cheering my boy on in January!” the fan wrote on Reddit. (see photo below)

Upon learning of the tribute, Jiri Prochazka took to social media to send a message of support to his fan. On Monday (16), he used his official account on 'X' (formerly Twitter) to publish a montage with the two's looks and wrote:

The fan also revealed that she attended the last fight of Jiri Prochazka No. UFC 303, when the Czech fighter lost the rematch for the light heavyweight belt Alex Poatán in the main fight. The 'Samurai's' next commitment will be in January next year against Jamahal hill, at UFC 311.
