Brutally knocked out by Cesar Almeida on the main card of UFC Las Vegas 101, the first Ultimate event of the year, held last Saturday (11), Abul Razal Alhassan broke the silence and spoke about the setback in a post on social media.
The Ghanaian veteran came close to knocking out the Brazilian, but ended up being the victim of a precise and brutal blow, scaring even the spectators by taking minutes to regain consciousness. In a post on 'Instagram', Alhassan apologized to his fans, admitted to having been 'greedy' and did not hide his deep sadness with the result.

“I was greedy and I got caught. No excuses. I apologize to my true fans. I was greedy, I went for the knockout and I got caught. There’s nothing I can do but cry myself to sleep,” lamented the fighter.
At 39, Abdul Razak Alhassan reached his third fight without a win in the UFC, with two losses and one 'no contest'. In his career, the Ghanaian has 12 wins and seven losses. On the other side, Cesar Almeida achieved his second consecutive victory in the organization. Hired in 2023, the kickboxer from São Paulo has three triumphs and only one setback as a UFC fighter.
