One of the most talked about topics in recent times in the fighting world was about a possible boxing fight between Conor McGregor and Logan Paul. After the ratings success of the clash between Jake Paul with the living legend of boxing Mike Tyson, it seemed like a plausible idea to see the two personalities facing off in the ring. However, UFC president Dana White threw water on the beer of fans who were excited about this possibility.

McGregor has been linked to a boxing fight multi-million dollar fight in India against Logan Paul, but said he was focused on WWE and the attention then turned to KSI. However, White said on Wednesday (15) in Sorry My Take that none of these clashes will happen, as McGregor's next fight will be in the UFC.
“No,” White said of whether McGregor will fight Paul or KSI.
After Dana White dismissed a potential McGregor vs. Paul, he said the plan is for the Irish fighter to return in the second half of 2025.
“Eventually. I hope that Conor McGregor return in the fall of this year,” added the UFC president.

Conor McGregor has not stepped into the octagon since July 2021, when he broke his leg in the trilogy fight against Dustin poirier. The Irishman should face Michael chandler No. UFC 303, in June last year, but an injury forced him to withdraw from the fight. Although he insisted he was eager to fight again, McGregor has been busy with issues outside the Octagon, which include a civil lawsuit where he was found liable for sexual assault for an alleged incident that occurred in 2018 in Dublin, Ireland.
McGregor also became a partner in BKFC in 2024 and this has kept him quite busy as he continues to help the bare-knuckle fighting promotion expand its presence in combat sports. 'The Notorious' has a record of 22 wins and six losses as a professional and his last triumph was in 2020 when he knocked out Donald Cerrone.
