UFC 108 has suffered another setback to its card. Lightweight Tyson Griffin was injured during training and will not be able to face Jim Miller at the event taking place on January 2nd in Las Vegas, United States.

Before Griffin's injury, the show had already lost Brazilian Gabriel Napão to a severe infection, Carlos Condit to a training injury, Quinton " Rampage " Jackson who left the organization to film a movie, and Brock Lesnar who was diagnosed with mononucleosis.
