Tsarukyan raises his voice and takes to social media to challenge Charles of the Bronx: 'Don't be afraid'

Armenian has publicly stated his interest in fighting the former champion since he had to withdraw from UFC 311

One week after Arman Tsarukyan if you withdraw from the card UFC 311, the Armenian took to social media to challenge the Brazilian Charles of the Bronx. Tsarukyan would headline the event against Islam makhachev for the lightweight belt (up to 70,3 kg). One back injury took him out of the fight, but it didn't stop him from calling the UFC record holder for a new duel.

“The number one candidate has a name, and it is Arman Tsarukyan. If anyone wants to be the number one contender, they need to fight me — I’m ready and open. Don’t be afraid to say my name. I promise, I won’t hit too hard,” Arman wrote in an Instagram post with photos of his fight with Charles.

The interest in giving in to a rematch is not new. This week, Arman tsarukyan revealed to Canadian journalist Ariel Helwani that I would like to fight in sequence with Michael chandler ou Charles of the Bronx.

“If it’s not Islam, [I want to do] five rounds against Charles of the Bronx. Michael chandler “It could also be good because he is a tough fighter. For me, it is a good fight against him because he is a good name and can make me good money, give me good fighting experience. I am ready for him, in case Charles cannot fight,” Tsarukyan said in an interview with journalist Ariel Helwani.

The last time Arman stepped into the octagon was to face Charles. The two fought in the historic UFC 300, in April last year. The Brazilian came out on the worst in a split decision by the judges after a three-round fight.
