In the co-main fight of UFC Saudi Arabia, Shara Magomedov didn't see the color of the ball and lost his unbeaten record in the duel against Michael Page. In the 15 minutes of fighting, the pirate was unable to find his distance and was defeated by 'MVP' in a unanimous decision by the judges.
In a press conference after the event, Dana White explained that Page has a complicated fighting style, which makes it difficult for any opponent to face him. And, despite the defeat, the UFC president believes that the pirate did not leave the octagon any lesser than when he entered.

“You have to be aggressive with Page, but it’s a weird situation because he’s a counter-puncher and he kind of hangs back, waiting for you. You’re doomed if you do, doomed if you don’t. I think styles make fights, and ‘MVP’ is a very difficult style to fight against,” concluded the UFC president.
With the negative result, Shara Magomedov tasted the bitter taste of defeat for the first time in 16 career fights, interrupting his four-fight winning streak in the UFC. Michael Page recovered from a setback and, at 38 years old, has two wins and one loss in the biggest MMA organization in the world.
