Thus, in UFC 312 Q&A, held this Friday (7), the Brazilian was asked by a fan who was the fighter with the heaviest hand he had ever faced, and the answer was surprising.
As much as he recognized the talent of his former opponents, the São Paulo native stated that he is the fighter with the greatest knockout power in the entire lightweight category, in addition to once again stating his interest in fighting for the BMF belt with Max Holloway.
“It’s very difficult to answer, but I struggled with Dustin poirier, Justin gaethje, Michael chandler. When I fought with Justin gaethje, they said, 'He's the guy who hits the hardest.' When I hit him, he fell. So I'll tell you something: the guy who hits the hardest is me. I'm the problem in this division; I'm going for the BMF belt too. I'm the one who's going to do it," he said.
