In a video posted by Poatan on Instagram stories, the Brazilian was next to Adesanya on the edge of the cage. The former rivals enjoyed the moment together with funny faces and both said the Brazilian's classic catchphrase: 'Flame it!'

Overall, the rivalry between Poatan and Adesanya is three to one for the Brazilian, with two victories in kickboxing and one in MMA, while the Nigerian won the last duel between them, worth the UFC middleweight title.

At the current stage, both live opposite realities, as Adesanya faces a series of three consecutive defeats, While Alex Poatán has accumulated five victories (four in title fights) in the light heavyweight division (up to 93 kg).
