Dricus Du Plessis has already defined which fighters will try to dethrone him in the UFC. The middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg), who defended his title for the second time in a rematch against Sean Strickland No. UFC 312, revealed that he already has an imaginary line of challengers and gave his guess on who he should face next.

At the press conference following his victory in the UFC 312, Du Plessis commented on the current situation of the UFC middleweight division. For the champion, Caio Borralho must face Nassourdine Imavov to determine the next title challenger, as he defends the belt against the first in line, Khamzat Shimaev.

“You have Caio and you have Imavov. What a performance from Imavov (against Adesanya), I think he makes the fight between Caio and Imavov. I think this is the next fight to decide the title challenger, after I fight Khamzat,” said Du Plessis.

Dricus Du Plessis debuted in the UFC in October 2020 and has since accumulated nine victories in the organization, four by knockout and two by submission. During his career in the Ultimate, the South African has achieved notable triumphs against former champions Robert whittaker, Israel adesanya and twice against Sean Strickland.
