In search of a new chance to compete for the flyweight title (up to 56,7kg), which belongs to Alexandre pantoja, Brandon Moreno will face Steve Erceg in the main fight of UFC Mexico, scheduled for March 29th. The official announcement by Ultimate was made during the broadcast of UFC 312 on Saturday.

Moreno, a former division champion, was a standout performer when the UFC returned to Mexico in March last year. However, he was surprised by Brandon royval and was defeated by the judges' decision, in a very disputed fight. Despite the defeat, the Mexican recovered in November, when he defeated amir albazi by unanimous decision.
Erceg, in turn, is looking to end a two-game losing streak, which includes a loss to the champion Alexandre pantoja in a title dispute at UFC Rio and a tough knockout for Kai Kara France.
In addition to the duel between Moreno and Erceg, the card for UFC Mexico has several faces known to the local public, including: Kelvin Gastelum, Edgar Chairez e Lupita Godinez, who faces Brazilian Julia Polastri.
