In the main fight UFC 312, held last Saturday (8), Dricus Du Plessis dominated Sean Strickland and defended the middleweight title (up to 83,9 kg) for the second time. Although the fight met the expectations of many fans, there are those who turn their noses up at the technical level of the protagonists of the night, as is the case of Renato Moicano.
In a video published on his YouTube channel, Renato analyzed the main fight and, in the Brazilian's opinion, the duel was technically below expectations, suggesting that it looked more like an amateur fight, due to the athletes' oddities.

“Take a look at this, my brother. The first thing I wanted to say is: look at this guy’s technique. Until the third round, it seemed like I was watching an amateur Muay Thai fight in Anápolis, my brother. The guys were just feinting, Sean Strickland defending with his hand, he didn't do any dodging with his head, he always took his head back, defending with his hand. Dricus Du Plessis, sometimes, he would hit and he wouldn't. My brother, completely weird, old man.”, said Moicano.
Moicano compares Du Plessis and Strickland to Anderson Silva and claims Chimaev would beat both easily
Despite pointing out the low technical level, Moicano recalled that it was not always like this in the middleweight division, the lightweight compared Du Plessis and Strickland to the legend, Anderson Silva and pointed to the new number one contender as someone who would beat both the American and the South African with ease.
“This category there, which already had Anderson Silva, there have been several top guys, it's impressive how today there is Dricus Du Plessis and Strickland. Chimaev beats those two on the same day, man. That's the truth.”, concluded the Brasilia native.
