Magomed Ankalayev seems bothered by the way Alex Poatán is dealing with the confrontation between them. The Russian, who faces the Brazilian in the main fight of UFC 313 on March 8, he believes that the light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) is not preparing as he should and, because of this, he will pay dearly in the octagon.

Through a post on 'X', Ankalaev pointed out that Poatan, who went to Australia to accompany the UFC 312, is distracted by his travels and is not aware of the gravity of what is to come. The Dagestani representative believes that the fight will be so impactful that, after it, Brazilians will never be the same.

Magomed Ankalayev comes into the fight on a 13-fight unbeaten streak. His last three bouts include a unanimous decision victory over Aleksandar Rakić in UFC 308, last October, and a knockout over Johnny Walker in early 2024, after a no contest against the Brazilian months earlier.
