UFC legend ignores Jon Jones and points to the greatest heavyweight of today

Considered by many to be the greatest heavyweight (up to 120kg) in UFC history, Stipe Miocic There is no doubt about who is the best currently. The former champion, who has faced big names in the division, pointed out that a former rival has the ideal skills for the position.

In a recent interview with The Schmo, Miocic was asked who he would choose between Jon Jones e Francis Ngannou as the best heavyweight and, without hesitation, named the Cameroonian as the favorite.

“Well, I would pick Francis, just because he’s killing it, he’s doing really well with his boxing. I’d pick Francis,” Miocic said.

Stipe Miocic has been face to face with both Jon Jones how much with Francis Ngannou. When he faced 'Bones', the veteran was defeated by technical knockout, via spinning kick in the third round, of the main fight of the UFC 309, held in November 2024.

Against the 'Predator', Miocic came out on top in the first meeting by unanimous decision, but it was brutally knocked out in the rematch, which crowned the Cameroonian UFC champion.
