O UFC Seattle suffers another blow on the card. The event after the next one will not feature Edson Barboza among those scheduled. The Brazilian was removed from the list of fighters who will perform on February 22 due to an undisclosed injury.

The information was first given by the North American website 'MMA Fighting'. The featherweight (up to 65,7 kg) would face Steve Garcia. There is still no official news as to whether the American will remain on the card in the absence of his scheduled opponent. Edson Barboza would make his 31st fight for the UFC, an organization he has been a part of since 2010. The Brazilian has 24 victories in his MMA career and 12 defeats.
The UFC's return to Seattle has been marred by cancellations. The card has lost former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg) Dominick Cruz, who announced his retirement. His opponent, Rob font, was also left without an opponent.
Meanwhile, the heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg.) fight between Curtis blaydes e Rizvan Kuniev, scheduled for the main card, should be transferred to the UFC 313, on March 8th. The pay-per-view is headed by Alex Poatán x Magomed Ankalayev.
The main event of the UFC Seattle will see the return of the former double champion Henry Cejudo against song yadong in a fight valid for bantamweight.
