The financial market and cryptocurrency enthusiast, Renato Moicano, was not at all happy to see a fighter carrying communist symbols having his arm raised in the ufc vegas 102, held last Saturday (15). The Brasilia resident, who attended the Rodolfo Vieira's defeat to Andre Petroski, disagreed with the judges, who indicated victory for the American after three rounds. According to the lightweight (up to 70,3 kg), his political position may have interfered in the result.
In a video published on his YouTube channel, Moicano analyzed Rodolfo's evolution in the exchange and highlighted that the 'Black Belt Hunter' showed improvements in the standing game, with feints, movement and had the advantage in at least two rounds.

“The first thing I have to say about this fight is the following: Rudolph Vieira improved a lot in the striking for this fight. You might think it was a bit boring, but on the feet, he improved. He was feinting a lot, he was hitting, he was moving. The two practically canceled each other out on the ground and fought almost the entire fight standing, but, in my opinion, at least two rounds went to Rudolph Vieira.”, said Moicano.
Although Moicano saw victory for the Brazilian, the referees indicated another result inside the octagon. Renato questioned the judges' decision and, in a relaxed tone, suggested ironically that Petroski had been favored because he was a communist.
“I don’t know where the judge saw Petroski winning. I don’t know how they gave him this fight. It was a difficult fight to score, but I think Rodolfo was better on his feet, he tried some takedowns, he was more active. Giving this fight to Petroski Andre Petroski, my brother, just because he is a communist? That exists too! Clearly a communist.”, concluded the Brasilia native.

The result broke a positive streak of two fights of Rudolph Vieira, who had not been defeated in MMA since June 2022, when he was defeated by Chris Curtis, also by unanimous decision. In total, he has five wins and three losses in the biggest MMA event in the world.
