Protagonist of controversial victory in UFC Las Vegas 102, Nazim Sadykhov dismissed any scenario that was pointed out as luck or misinterpretation by the fans. Despite having defeated Ismael Bonfim via medical interruption, the fighter assured that the kick responsible for causing the Brazilian's difficulty in seeing was trained frequently to be certainly applied.

“I don’t want to hear that there was a language barrier. I did damage. I kicked him hard. Those head kicks, we were preparing them all the way through the build-up. I don’t know if the cameras caught it backstage, but we were preparing that head kick. We were working on that head kick, it was coming all night,” Nazim said at a post-fight press conference.
