Gregory Robocop's executioner opens up and points to rematches against former champions as ideal next step in career

Despite there being 'no' new faces to share the octagon with Jared Cannonier, the veteran has some ideas for repeat stickers that could complete his album. The 40-year-old fighter, who derrotou Gregory Robocop and defended his seventh place in the middleweight ranking (up to 83,9 kg), he pointed out some rematches that would be interesting for his next fight.

In an interview with Canadian reporter Ariel Helwani, Cannonier opened up about his next steps in his career. The veteran said that there is nothing new for him, as he has faced all the opponents who are ahead of him in the division rankings. However, he believes that a rematch against Sean Strickland, Robert whittaker or even Israel adesanya would be ideal.

“There are definitely no new opponents that they will put me against that are ahead of me. I think a rematch with Robert whittaker ou Sean Strickland It’s feasible. I would like a rematch with Adesanya, but I don’t think the world wants to see that,” Cannonier said.
