The result of the main fight of UFC 313 between Alex Poatán e Magomed Ankalayev, which took place last Saturday (8), has been widely reported in the global MMA community in recent days. After successfully defending the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg) three times last year, the Brazilian was unable to escape the game of his Russian opponent, who ended up winning the title of the category in the unanimous decision of the judges.

However, another piece of data on the portal caught our attention. A pie chart shows that the majority of the 1601 fans consulted (55,5%) believe that Poatan won three of the five rounds against Ankalaev, thus guaranteeing the Brazilian's victory. (see below)

Most of the MMA community is calling for an immediate rematch between Poatan and Ankalaev. One of them is the UFC interim heavyweight champion, Tom aspinall. He made his opinion known in a video, in addition to show your card of scoring, which was favorable to the Russian.

UFC President Dana White said he was not satisfied with the main event of the UFC 313 and that he expected a more dynamic fight. However, despite the criticism, he stated that a rematch is already in the works. being considered and that Poatan and Ankalaev should meet again in the octagon.

The new champion also gave his opinion on a rematch. Ankalaev, who insinuated that Poatan ran away from him the whole time during the fight, showed himself willing to do all over again against the Brazilian.
“I was confident, I kept coming forward. I kept putting pressure on him, and he kept running away from me for 20 minutes. This guy kept running away from me, and then I heard at the end of the fight that he wasn’t sure why the win was given to me. Who should get the win?
