The domino effect of the defeat of Alex Poatán to Magomed Ankalayev continues at full steam. After winning the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg), the Russian adopted a provocative stance, poking Jon Jones and suggesting a partnership with Tom aspinall – an idea that, by all indications, pleased the British.

Ankalaev posted on 'X' his new nickname, 'Big Ank', accompanied by 'Big Tom' and a holding hands emoji, suggesting an alliance between the two champions. In response, Aspinall took to Instagram stories to reciprocate the Russian's gesture.

In addition to defeating Poatan in UFC 313, Ankalaev thwarted the plans of Jon Jones to hold a super fight against the Brazilian. Aware of the situation, the Dagestani did not miss the opportunity to pin the heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg).

PUBLICITY:

“Jonny steroid machine was very disappointed. I beat Alex, please fight the big one Tom aspinall. Stop running,” Ankalaev wrote on 'X'.
