Dana White divided opinions about dissatisfaction with the victory of Magomed Ankalayev about Alex Poatán of the light heavyweights (up to 93kg.) in UFC 313, played on Saturday night (8), in Las Vegas (USA). The executive's reaction, observed inside the octagon, generated speculation among fans and analysts, including a comment from Robert whittaker about the episode.
Participating in the 'MMArcade' podcast, Robert whittaker, who is a former champion of the organization, highlighted the moment when Dana White analyzed the referees' scorecards and was reportedly frustrated with the result for the light heavyweight belt (up to 93 kg).

“Did you notice when they were about to announce the winner and then Dana White read the card? From that moment on, I knew Ankalaev had won. He just didn’t look happy. I try not to make a big deal out of it. I’ve seen it happen before. Dana being dirty. But I try not to make a big deal out of it because sometimes things don’t go the way you think they’re going to, you know? Of course, it was 30 seconds before the announcement,” Whittaker said, in an analysis of the episode.
The dissatisfaction, according to Dana White, was not directed at the result — which crowned Ankalaev as the new light heavyweight champion by unanimous decision — but at the lack of dynamism in the fight.
During the official announcement of Ankalaev's victory, cameras caught the 'boss' with a displeased expression as he read out the judges' scores. Despite his frustration, Dana signaled openness to a rematch.
