An unexpected defeat in the UFC 313 took on surrealist contours on social media. A fan used artificial intelligence to recreate the moment when Alex Poatán, hit by a blow from Magomed Ankalayev, 'escaped' from the octagon riding a motorcycle, while the Russian displayed a sign with the word 'Flame'. The montage, which went viral on X (formerly Twitter), mixed humor, creativity and criticism of the result of the dispute for the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg).

The scene in which Poatan retreats after a cross from Ankalaev and leans against the fence inspired the humorous creation. In the AI-edited version, the fighter, instead of recovering, 'flees' the octagon on a motorcycle, while the Russian holds up a sign with the word 'Chama' (Chama) — a reference to the Brazilian's catchphrase. The post accumulated thousands of interactions, with users joking about the Brazilian's 'creative escape'.
Poatan's performance was the target of harsh analysis. Michael Bisping, former UFC champion, described the Brazilian's performance as 'lazy', questioning his will to win. Already Tom aspinall, interim heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg), said that Ankalaev 'clearly dominated' the fight.
By unanimous decision of the judges, Ankalaev won the title after five even rounds. The Brazilian defended all 12 of his opponent's takedown attempts, but was unable to prevent the Russian's superiority in blows to the head and body.
