UFC star believes Jon Jones is in 'reverse plan' against Tom Aspinall

A top 10 UFC featherweight (up to 65,7 kg) fighter gave his honest opinion on the progress of the negotiations for the highly anticipated heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg) title unification bout. arnold allen, Jon Jones plays a psychological game against Tom aspinall. In the fighter's opinion, a kind of 'strategic delay' is underway on the part of the linear champion.

Canadian journalist Ariel Helwani reported this week that 'Bones' demands that he have at least six months of preparation to face his rival in the octagon. If the request is accepted, the fight should only take place at the end of 2025.

Chael Sonnen blasts Jon Jones' strategy

Another person to give their opinion on the news was Chael Sonnen. The former fighter did question of criticism Jones' stance in a video posted on his YouTube channel last Tuesday (18).

“He didn’t know the undisputed champion was going to face the interim champion? What do you mean you need six months? Six months from when?” Sonnen said at one point in the video.
