O UFC London, an event held this Saturday (22), promotes an afternoon of clashes with protagonism for former champions and young promises in the octagon. Leon edwards returns to the spotlight after losing the welterweight belt (up to 77kg) and tests the rise of Sean brady on the global stage for the main fight of the night. The card starts at 14 pm (Brasília time) and has 13 scheduled fights.

Another highlight goes to the former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg), Jan Blachowicz, who makes his return after a long hiatus against the New Zealander Carlos Ulberg, 'partner' of Israel adesanya, in the second most important fight of the event.
The O2 Arena, the historic UFC venue in the British capital since 2002, is preparing for another chapter of intense fights. In addition, three Brazilians will represent the country in the show held in the 'Land of the Queen'.
Chance of redemption for Leon Edwards
At 33, Leon edwards face Sean brady in his first appearance after losing the title to Belal Muhammad |, at UFC 304, in July 2024. The Briton, who was at the top of the division for more than a year, admitted to performance flaws that culminated in the defeat and promised to return to the aggressive stance that made him famous.
On the other hand, the American arrives with high morale after two consecutive victories: over Kelvin Gastelum, in December 2023, and Gilbert Durinho, in September 2024. The fighter, who is ranked fifth, is aiming for a jump in the rankings and, possibly, a future title fight.

Former light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) and at 42 years old, Jan Blachowicz returns after a year and eight months away due to surgery. The Polish, known for defeating names like Israel adesanya e Dominick reyes, seeks to claim a position at the top against Carlos Ulberg, on the rise.
Adesanya's training partner, Ulberg has won seven straight fights, including knockouts over Alonzo Menifield e Volkan oezdemir. The fight is seen as a turning point: as the Pole tries to avoid decline and glimpses a chance for revenge against Magomed Ankalayev ou Alex Poatán, the New Zealander aims to enter the fight for the belt.

After arriving at the UFC via the 'Contender Series', Alexia Bourgeois debut in the organization against the 'home sweetheart' Molly McCann in the main program of the event. The Brazilian was called at the last minute after her compatriot left istela nunes and promises to 'shut up London' on his debut.
The preliminary card also features two Brazilian prospects from Dana White's company. Representative of 'Chute Boxe', Felipe dos Santos, Lip Detona, tries to break the Chinese's invincibility Lone'er Kavanagh.
Kaue Fernandes has a tough mission: to open the event. The fighter, with a record of one win and one loss with the UFC gloves, comes face to face with Guram Kutateladze.
UFC London
London established itself as the traditional headquarters of the UFC after the first event in July 2002, with highlights including classics such as Matt hugs x Carlos Newton.
Almost 11 years later, in July 2023, the organization held its last event in the city, when Tom aspinall derrotou Marcin tybura in the main fight and got closer to the belt – which he currently holds on an interim basis in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg).
