Ankalaev mocks Alex Poatan's new trip and says he's back to training: 'My kids are having fun'

New light heavyweight champion taunts Brazilian and suggests he is focused while rivals are having fun

It seems, Magomed Ankalayev is in a hurry to defend his belt. The Russian, who won Alex Poatán No. UFC 313, has already resumed his athlete routine a few weeks after becoming light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) and even provoked the Brazilian, who traveled to London, where the next UFC event will take place.

Through a post on 'X', Ankalaev referred to Poatan and, possibly, to Jan Blachowicz, who steps into the octagon in London, as 'children' and highlighted that, while his rivals 'are having fun', he is already back in training.

Magomed Ankalayev won Alex Poatán by decision of the judges after five rounds in the main fight of the UFC 313. Although the confrontation is still recent, the Russian claims that he has already accepted negotiations for the rematch.
