Jon Jones may finally be close to a conclusion to define his next commitment in the UFC octagon. The heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg.) has left several victims along the way throughout his 17 years in the organization. But there was one time when the GOAT had to sit down to avoid fainting right after winning a fight, due to a horrible injury.

The incident took place 12 years ago, at UFC 159. At the time, 'Bones' faced the loudmouth Chael Sonnen shortly after the two participated in the 17th season of The Ultimate Fighter. In fact, 'The American Gangster' recently commented that was astonished with the behavior of his rival before the fight.
The eternal rival of Anderson Silva Jones took a beating from 'Bones' and lost by TKO in the first round. However, despite having suffered virtually no damage, Jones got a scare. During an interview with Joe Rogan while still in the octagon, he looked down and realized that he had suffered a serious injury to the big toe of one of his feet. 'Uh oh, he broke his foot,' exclaimed Rogan.
The UFC GOAT even had to sit in a chair while doctors tended to the horrific injury. (strong image below)
“I wasn’t planning on breaking my big toe, it’s all horrible, man. I was supposed to go to Jamaica after this, but now I don’t think that’s going to happen,” Jones responded at the time.
Since his last performance in UFC 309, in November of last year when he brutalized Stipe Miocic, Jones has been under intense persecution from the interim heavyweight champion, Tom aspinall, who wants a title unification fight against 'Bones'. Recently, the British gave indications that finally an outcome may be close to happening.
