Minutes after giving a 'beating' to actor Duda Nagle in the main fight of the Fight Music Show 6, held last Saturday (17), Acelino Popó Freitas had already defined his next target: bodybuilder Felipe Alves. The challenge was made by the four-time world boxing champion while still in the ring.

“I want to beat Felipe (Franco) when he’s 50. On September 21st, I’ll be 50. I train every day, regardless of the fight. I love boxing,” declared the boxing legend.

Challenged by Popó, Felipe Franco is 39 years old and is a multiple champion in bodybuilding. In addition, the São Paulo native works as a YouTuber, businessman, model and was elected state deputy in São Paulo with 90440 votes in the last elections, in 2022.

With the main fight underway, the Fight Music Show 7 does not yet have a scheduled date. The trend, however, based on the organization's recent history, is that it will be held in 2025, in the second half of the year.

Couples rivalry?

The rivalry between Popó and Felipe Franco had a somewhat indirect chapter in the sixth edition of Fight Music Show, when Emilene Juarez, the boxer's wife, faced Inaê Barros, the bodybuilder's wife. The duel between the two ended in a draw and the female belt of the FMS remained with Emilene, who had won it in a victory over model Fernanda Lacerda in the fourth edition of the event.
