Ilia Topuria doubts the effectiveness of possible partnership between Jean Silva e Charles of the Bronx. Recently, the Fighting Nerds representative offered to help Oliveira prepare for the fight against the Georgian in UFC 317. 'Lord' said he could imitate the featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg) and make him ready for anything inside the octagon.
In a press conference at the Spanish event 'WOWfc', Topuria reacted to the statements of Jean Silva and questioned whether the Brazilian would really know how to imitate him. For the Georgian, if 'Lord' really knew how to emulate his game, he would have the same results and, consequently, the UFC belt.

“I don’t know where he got that from, to tell you the truth. The truth is, if he knows how to imitate me, why didn’t he do the same thing I did? That’s just talk. Because they all say they know how to imitate me and then they can’t. You know what happens inside the octagon. So I wish him all the luck in the world, but those are just loud statements. Knowing how to imitate me is complicated,” said Topuria.
Ilia Topuria e Charles of the Bronx face each other in the main fight of the UFC 317, scheduled for June 28, during International Fight Week. The duel is worth the lightweight belt (up to 70,2 kg), after Islam makhachev give up the title to seek the second belt in the welterweight division (up to 77kg).
