A lightning six-second knockout between the Turkish Burak Kizilirmak and the Brazilian Delberty Lamark, which took place on Saturday (17) during the Xtreme Combat Championship 2 (XCC 2) in Vienna, Austria, generated intense debates about the legitimacy of the result.
The sudden fall of the Brazilian fighter, who was returning to the octagon after six years of inactivity, was classified as 'ineligible' for official records by the specialized website Tapology, which pointed out 'lack of competitiveness' and 'international standards not met'.

The fight, scheduled for three rounds in the welterweight category (up to 77 kg), began with both athletes advancing to the center of the cage. Kizilirmak threw a left jab, while Lamark retreated and fell in an unusual way. The sequence lasted less than ten seconds, and the referee stopped the fight after an additional blow from the Turkish fighter.
Replays shown on social media revealed that the impact of Kizilirmak's punch seemed light, but the Brazilian's reaction was disproportionate. Lamark spun in the air and fell hard, which media outlets and internet users attributed to an alleged simulation.
Delberty Lamark, 36, had not competed since 2018. He competed in organizations such as Jungle Fight and Aspera MMA in the past. His record is six wins and four losses.
Yes, Burak Kizilirmak, 26, has accumulated 12 wins and three losses, but two of his latest achievements have been publicly contested. The Tapology platform included the fight against Lamark in a list of 'ineligible fights' due to accusations of technical irregularities.
