In preparation for avenging his last defeat, Sean O'Malley may be about to make his last appearance in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2kg) of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). According to Chael Sonnen , if his compatriot fails to defeat Merab Dvalishvili on June 7th at UFC 216, the former champion will need to move up to featherweight (up to 65,7kg) to continue having a chance at success in the sport.

“ Sean O’Malley wins this fight or possibly never fights at 61 lbs again. This will be Sean’s last chance against Merab. They won’t do a part three.
