Just a few days away from stepping into the octagon to fight for the lightweight belt at UFC 317, Charles of the Bronx uses all experience and coolness to deal with provocations Ilia Topuria. Aware that the athlete has promised knockouts and a resounding victory, the Brazilian guaranteed that statements do not interfere with his mentality or preparation.
“It doesn’t matter what they say. It doesn’t matter to me, I think only God knows what will happen. On June 28th we will face each other. I think I am a problem for him, as well as for anyone who is going to fight. I am a guy who has firepower in his hands, who has incredible jiu-jitsu. What Topuria or any other guy is saying, it doesn’t matter to me,” Charles told Canal Encarada.

Finally, Do Bronx highlighted his history of triumphs over rivals who used to provoke him.
“You’ve seen this soap opera several times, many of them said a lot of things and you know what happened in the end, which was my arm raised. So, it doesn’t make any difference,” he concluded.
